The Grace Card ~ Review and Giveaway!

Have you heard about this wonderful movie yet? If not, you are really missing out. It is one of the BEST movies I have seen in a long time. If you have, then you will be thrilled to know it is now available on DVD! Either way, you can win your very own copy of The Grace Card by entering below!

I don't want to give a lot of details about this movie and spoil it for anyone, so I will stick to the basics. Mac is a police officer who has a lot of anger, when he is passed up for a promotion and then gets partnered with the man who got the promotion there is a lot of strife.

Mac has a lot of pain in his life, instead of turning to his family for support, he pushes them away. He feels worthless and alone, and he hates the world. Can Mac find a way to forgive himself and others before it is too late?

This movie is about the power of forgiveness, about the unending grace Jesus has to forgive all sin, no matter how bad we think they are. You will be inspired, you will cry, your heart will ache for the characters in this film.

The acting and the whole story line is superb. I was not expecting the ending in this movie, I tried hard not to cry but the tears just flowed. In a good way!

This movie is rated PG 13, I believe this is because of the guns, and a few crime related scenes. There is no foul language, no nudity, or anything I felt my children should not see. Sensitive children may be saddened by some parts of this movie. Watch it yourself first, you are the best judge of what your children should or should not see.

  1. I can't help but think of the grace my family extends to me when faced with a less than stellar dinner, a schedule that's a bit too rushed, or a house that's not nearly organized enough.

  3. Just reading your posts and sharing your faith, I am inspired. I have been graced many times in my life, and even daily. By my online friends who help me through so many things, to family that know when to step back, and when to come help. I could go on and on! Also a fan of your Stairsteps Homeschool Academy!

  5. People are always extending me grace because I am always messing things up! One area I'd really like to improve is getting upset with the kiddos. Even when I yell at them sometimes, they still love me. Of course, I sure do extend a lot of grace to them, too!
