Theo ~ A review and Giveaway!

 



Theo is a new DVD series that teaches bible stories to children. The animated characters are very realistic, my kids loved Theo, saying he reminded them of their great grandfather. I liked his gentle voice and they way the bible stories are told. Each story is short but thorough, I didnt feel like anything important was left out. I did feel like my kids understood what was said, I asked them to tell the story back to me and they were able to easily.

My kids were a bit disappointed that the stories were short, but I can understand why the creators chose to do it this way. Not all young children have a long attention span. Also these would make wonderful lesson starters for Sunday School, homeschool lessons, family devotions, and could even be used for bible school.

I was excited to see there is a Sunday School curriculum available to go along with this from Lifeway, I will be mentioning it to my church. I was hoping to get  chance to share this with my Sunday School class myself but the timing was off.

There is also a FREE APP for I Phone and I Pad available from the Theo Website.

I really love that every time someone purchases one of these DVD's, a copy is also donated to a child in need, and you can choose which region of the world you would like the DVD to be sent to.
