Christmas Lodge ~ Review and Giveaway!

Thomas Kinkade presents this family friendly movie, and I believe it could become one of your favorite movies to watch at Christmas time. In this story, Mary, who loves the outdoors, especially the woods where her grandfather often took her growing up, finds a young girl who has injured her ankle. Along with her boyfriend, Mary helps the girl back to her home which just happens to be Christmas Lodge. Mary has many wonderful memories of Christmas spent at the lodge with her family, and is sad to see that it has fallen into disrepair.

It becomes her mission to help restore Christmas Lodge again. Her beloved grandfather encourages her when everyone else thinks it is an impossible task. Its such an encouraging story, and I enjoyed it a lot!

I was glad to see that this wasn't just another Christmas movie trying to rev people up for the holidays. In fact, it doesn't really focus on Christmas at all. Instead it focuses on family, about helping others in need, and about love and sharing between generations of a family.

I found it heartwarming! I'm looking forward to watching it again with friends and family that are visiting with us this holiday season. I loved that there wasn't anything in this movie that I couldn't let my younger children see. It is truly a family friendly film!
