A Mile in His Shoes ~ Movie Review and Giveaway!

Photobucket

From the director of "Angels In the Outfield" comes an inspiring story about a special boy with an amazing gift, and the coach who believed. Dean Cain and Luke Schroder star in the gmc movie based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler".

We had some friends over and watched A Mile in His Shoes for our family movie night last Saturday. Everyone said it was a great movie! I totally agree, it has a very positive message, and goes right along with what I have always tried to teach my children. Everyone on this planet is here because God has a plan for their lives, God doesn't make mistakes!

Mickey has Asperger's syndrome, a form of autism, and spends his days working on his family's small farm. When a baseball coach runs his car into a ditch near Mickey's house, he lets him use the family phone to call for help. As Mickey is throwing apples to feed the pigs, coach Murph sees something in him that no one else can see and takes a chance on a boy most people overlooked because of his Asperger's.

I loved how this coach was so patient and kind to Mickey. Together they overcame obstacles, including a jealous team member who tried to stop Mickey's career before it even got started, and with God's help showed everybody just what teamwork can do.

Good family movies can be far and few between, this one will not disappoint!
